Bushbuck base layers are made for the hard knocks of outdoor adventures. As the first layer of clothing worn directly against the skin, base layers are primarily made to regulate your body temperature and manage moisture. Also known as thermals, polyprops, or merino, outdoor base layers keep you warm in cold weather, cooler in hot weather, and dry when you start to sweat. They are usually breathable, lightweight, quick- drying, and odour- resistant. Bushbuck Combat Merino is our premium base layer range made of natural merino wool and durable nylon, while our Apex base layer range is designed for summer conditions. The choice of material often depends on the activity, weather conditions, and personal preference.
